The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) was founded in 1985. It is a center for the advanced study of Islam and Muslim societies located in Oxford, England, and is a registered educational charity. Its Patron is The Prince of Wales. In 2012 it was granted a Royal Charter by Queen Elizabeth II.
