Action Research
MOMODa FOUNDATION is a research oriented development organization aims at creating a society with reduced poverty and inequality. The foundation has active network with experts from interdisciplinary background and professionals leading a dynamic team of enumerators, data entry operators, field supervisors and facilitators. The foundation has expertise in conducting experimental and quasi-experimental research, from designing the study and implementation to analysis and publication. Rigorous evaluation, capacity building training for development professionals, data management, software interface design, analysis of data using different statistical packages are among the expertise of the organization. Major projects that have been done by the foundation are in the field of migration, skill development, education, energy, micro-finance and financial inclusion, to name a few.
Data Entry, Coding and Cleaning
The foundation has expertise in conducting experimental and quasi-experimental research, from designing the study and implementation to analysis and publication. Rigorous evaluation, capacity-building training for development professionals, data management, software interface design, and analysis of data using different statistical packages are among the organization’s areas of expertise. Data entry processing, designing data entry user interfaces using software like SurveyCTO, Survey Solutions, KoboToolbox, etc., data cleaning, and other related services we have been providing to organizations and entities for several years.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Monitoring and evaluation of different types of social intervention is one of the services that MOMODa FOUNDATION provides very professionally and effectively. From designing of the project to through implementation process team of experts from MOMODa FOUNDATION monitor and evaluate the project activities using tools of formative evaluation and provide feedback for improvement and adjustment. The team also helps project personnel by developing a monitoring toolkit so that implementing organizations can also see the progress for themselves.
Post-evaluation methods are used to evaluate the immediate output of the project based on project proforma and logical framework. Outcome evaluation is done using quantitative approach like experimental i.e. Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) and quasi-experimental techniques i.e. Difference-in-Difference, Instrumental Variable (IV), Regression Discontinuity Design, etc. We have also a team of experts in qualitative approach.
